Tilawat of Surah Al-A'la in Arabic is very helpful and provides us peace of mind. بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 870 Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى 871 Sabbihisma Rabbikal A’laa Sahih InternationalExalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ 872 Allazee khalaqa fasawwaa Sahih InternationalWho created and proportioned وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ 873 Wallazee qaddara fahadaa Sahih InternationalAnd who destined and [then] guided وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ 874 Wallazeee akhrajal mar’aa Sahih InternationalAnd who brings out the pasture فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ 875 Faja’alahoo ghusaaa’an ahwaa Sahih InternationalAnd [then] makes it black stubble. سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ 876 Sanuqri’uka falaa tansaaa Sahih InternationalWe will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ 877 Illaa maa shaaa’al laah; innahoo ya’lamul jahra wa maa yakhfaa Sahih InternationalExcept what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ 878 Wa nu-yassiruka lilyusraa Sahih InternationalAnd We will ease you toward ease. فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ 879 Fazakkir in nafa’atizzikraa Sahih InternationalSo remind, if the reminder should benefit; سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ Sa yazzakkaru maiyakhshaa Sahih InternationalHe who fears [Allah] will be reminded. وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى Wa yatajannabuhal ashqaa Sahih InternationalBut the wretched one will avoid it – ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ Allazee yaslan Naaral kubraa Sahih International[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ Summa laa yamootu feehaa wa laa yahyaa Sahih InternationalNeither dying therein nor living. قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ Qad aflaha man tazakkaa Sahih InternationalHe has certainly succeeded who purifies himself وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ Wa zakaras ma Rabbihee fasallaa Sahih InternationalAnd mentions the name of his Lord and prays. بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا Bal tu’siroonal hayaatad dunyaa Sahih InternationalBut you prefer the worldly life, وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ Wal Aakhiratu khairunw wa abqaa Sahih InternationalWhile the Hereafter is better and more enduring. إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ Inna haazaa lafis suhu fil oolaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, this is in the former scriptures, صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ Suhufi Ibraaheema wa Moosaa Sahih InternationalThe scriptures of Abraham and Moses.

Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, — Saheeh International Who created and ˹perfectly˺ fashioned ˹all˺, — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran Who created and proportioned — Saheeh International and Who ordained precisely and inspired accordingly, — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran And who destined and [then] guided — Saheeh International and Who brings forth ˹green˺ pasture, — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran And who brings out the pasture — Saheeh International then reduces it to withered chaff. — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran And [then] makes it black stubble. — Saheeh International We will have you recite ˹the Quran, O Prophet,˺ so you will not forget ˹any of it˺, — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran We will make you recite, [O Muḥammad], and you will not forget, — Saheeh International unless Allah wills He surely knows what is open and what is hidden. — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. — Saheeh International We will facilitate for you the Way of — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran And We will ease you toward — Saheeh International So ˹always˺ remind ˹with the Quran˺—˹even˺ if the reminder is beneficial ˹only to some˺. — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran So remind, if the reminder should benefit;1 — Saheeh International Those in awe ˹of Allah˺ will be mindful ˹of it˺. — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. — Saheeh International But it will be shunned by the most wretched, — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran But the wretched one will avoid it — Saheeh International SurahAl Ala. رکوعاتہا 1. سورۃ ﴛ. اٰیاتہا 19. Adapun pokok-pokok bahasan yang terkandung di dalam surah Al-Alaa, yaitu Penjelasan tentang sifat-sifat yang dimiliki Allah Swt. serta salah satu sifat yang dimiliki Nabi Muhammad Saw. Ada pula pemaparan tentang mereka yang akan memperoleh kebahagiaan di akhirat kelak; Perintah dari Allah Swt. untuk senantiasa bertasbih dengan menyebut nama-Nya. Rasulullah Saw. pun selalu ingat kepada kumpulan ayat yang dibacakan kepada beliau. It is named after one of the attributes of Allaah SWT, Al A’la, the Highest. The beginning verses glorify and describe Allaah SWT as the Creator of everything. Al-A'la. Makkiyah - 19. سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْاَعْلَىۙ ۝١. sabbiḫisma rabbikal-a'lâ. Sucikanlah nama Tuhanmu Yang Mahatinggi, الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰىۖ ۝٢. alladzî khalaqa fa sawwâ. yang menciptakan, lalu menyempurnakan (ciptaan-Nya), وَالَّذِيْ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰىۖ ۝٣. walladzî qaddara fa hadâ.
The Most High • al-A'laIn the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful. 1. Praise the Name of your Lord, the Most High. 2. He who creates and regulates. 3. He who measures and guides. 4. He who produces the pasture. 5. Then reduces it to light debris. 6. We will make you read, so do not forget. 7. Except what God wills. He knows what is declared, and what is hidden. 8. We will facilitate for you the Way of Ease. 9. So remind, if the reminder is beneficial. 10. He who fears will take notice. 11. But the most wretched will avoid it. 12. He who will enter the Gigantic Fire. 13. Where he will neither die, nor live. 14. Successful is he who purifies himself. 15. And remembers the Name of his Lord, and prays. 16. But you prefer the present life. 17. Even though the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 18. This is in the earlier scriptures. 19. The Scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
