Turn on your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. From the Home screen, open the Settings app. Select on General. Select on Background App Refresh. From the list of apps, change the toggle to OFF for the apps that you don't want to refresh in the background.
A feature called "background app refresh" allows apps to check for updates -- for example, new emails in an email app -- in the background. To prevent an app from running in the background in this way, you don't need to use the multitasking view. Instead, just disable background refresh for such apps. To do this, open the Settings screen, tapHere's how to turn "Background App Refresh" off. First, open the "Settings" app on your iPhone. In "Settings," tap "General." In "General," tap "Background App Refresh." Next, you'll see the "Background App Refresh" settings. If you'd like, you can disable Background App Refresh on an app-by-app basis here. Just tap the switch beside each app
